Young Rock did manage to become a moderate success for NBC through its unique premise. The series is based on the life of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, the former WWE superstar and one of the highest-paid actors in the world currently. The series is curated where the career of Dwayne sees another significant change as he embarks on the journey for the presidential election in 2032.

After the release of Young Rock, people are wondering if Dwayne did have a political aspiration. The series has tried to tie several narratives together to appeal to Dwayne’s viewers and long-time fans.

The first season did run for 11 episodes on NBC. Also, the series was a brainchild of Nahnatchka Khan and Johnson himself.

The first season of Young Rock debuted sometime in Feb 2021 after the development occurred in January 2020. It is tough to speculate the second season’s release as season 1 already premiered after several delays.

According to sources, Adrian Groulx will portray the role of 10-year-old Johnson alongside Bradly Constant portraying the teenage Johnson. New development suggests that Uli Latukefu will also return to essay the role of early 20s Dwayne.
